Claire M. Fraser, Ph.D., serves as a director of BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a global medical technology company headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Dr. Fraser has been a member of the board since 2016.
Dr. Fraser is the director of the Institute for Genome Sciences and a Professor of Medicine and Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. From 1998 to 2007, she served as president and director of The Institute for Genomic Research, a not-for-profit research organization engaged in human and microbial genomics studies. Dr. Fraser serves as a director of Seres Therapuetics.
