Overview

The Texium™ System utilizes mechanical valve technology to achieve a leak-free drug transfer and promote the safe handling of hazardous drugs.

The centerpiece of the Texium™ System is the Texium™ Closed Male Luer. This is an airtight, leak-free, and drip-free closed system drug transfer device (CSTD) and when paired with a SmartSite™ Needle-free Connector, mechanically prohibits the transfer of environmental contaminants into the system and the escape of drug vapor concentrations outside the system.

The Texium™ System offers bonded syringes which, when used with a SmartSite™ Needle-free Connector, is designed to promote safe handling of non-hazardous and hazardous drugs during preparation, administration, and/or waste handling.

With a range of access devices, the Texium™ System provides healthcare professionals with a simple and cost-effective solution to their needs which include: SmartSite™ Non-vented vial Access Devices, SmartSite™ Vented Vial Access Devices and SmartSite™ Bag Access Devices.
