BD® Disposal Solutions offer collectors that meet the disposal needs of the four categories of waste generated in medical settings. There are two main categories of waste: regulated medical waste and hazardous waste. Regulated medical waste includes sharps/infectious, pharmaceutical (non-hazardous) and chemotherapy waste.
The hazardous waste category is for the collection of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) waste.
